Summer FUN!
We got to play outside one day last week. Check out the splash! And look at Jaron's face...Oh I signed him up for public school...from home. Yes that is right...it's called the GA virtual Academy. I will get the curriculum in the mail and home school with public school material. It is free and he will only have to go to the school at the end of the year for testing. His first day is August 13th. He will be required to attended 5 days a week 4.5 hours per day. We log in his attendance online. I can't wait to get started.
TOO FUNNY!
Week of Firsts
And he has learned to grab this little toy someone got him at birth. It is so cute when he does it and he also started rubbing his eyes when he gets sleepy. Adorable...
Happy Birthday Jaron!
Chunky Lil' Man!
He just had a bath and was smiling so big! He loves the bath. He has learned how to kick and splash water, it is so cute.
We tried the jumper and he was not sure what to do with it. He is still too little to hold himself up good so we put a blanket behind him. He is doing better holding his head up though.
2 months old!
Well we had his 2 month check up yesterday and he is a WHOPPING 14 lbs. 3 oz. Bigger than Jacob and Jaron both were at this age. He is wearing 3 months size clothes. He is also 24 1/2 inches long. He's growing GREAT! Still enjoying mommy's milk only. It is such a good feeling to know that I have everything my baby needs. I just realized the other day the meaning of his name. I know Jonah means dove but what does dove mean? What did it mean in the bible? The dove returned to the Ark after the flood to let Noah and his family know that everything was going to be alright. To me Jonah was a relief, having a child without a cleft was God's way of telling me that everything is going to be alright. I thought it could never happen. It's almost like the devil was telling me "You can't have a normal baby". I was scared to get pregnant this last time and doubted the entire pregnancy if the ultrasound was right. "Does he really have a cleft and they just can't see it?" So Jonah has been my easiest baby. Even though he has colic from 11pm-12am EVERY night. It's so weird. Just one hour of crying then he's done. The doctor said he would grow out of it around 4 months old.Silly Boys
