Summer Sillies...

My boys are so handsome --- not bragging just telling the truth!
I got these at the drug store the other day. They are suckers on the other side and too big to really eat but they were very funny.

Summer FUN!

We got to play outside one day last week. Check out the splash! And look at Jaron's face...
This was Jacob's idea...Mommy can we please play in with a laundry basket....

Oh I signed him up for public school...from home. Yes that is right...it's called the GA virtual Academy. I will get the curriculum in the mail and home school with public school material. It is free and he will only have to go to the school at the end of the year for testing. His first day is August 13th. He will be required to attended 5 days a week 4.5 hours per day. We log in his attendance online. I can't wait to get started.

TOO FUNNY!

Throughout the day I get the call "Mommy I'm all done!" So I went into the bathroom and this is what I found. I couldn't resist - had to go back and get the camera....too funny!
Here's a good close up of him. Daddy took this one today.
My three sons...so handsome!

Week of Firsts

Jonah went to his 1st braves game and he slept through most of it.
He went in his own room and slept in the crib all by himself. I always put my babies in their own room at 3 months. He did fine. No complaints.
And he has learned to grab this little toy someone got him at birth. It is so cute when he does it and he also started rubbing his eyes when he gets sleepy. Adorable...

Happy Birthday Jaron!

Well he is 3 years old CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! I am amazed at the changes in my little boy. He is doing better with eating and speech therapy. He got a Toy Story cake and I decorated the kitchen with streamers and balloons. HE LOVED IT!
The suspense was adorable....
And here it is a spiderman scooter (3 wheels) so he can ride with Jacob. He has a bike too but hasn't learned to pedal yet. Thank God we made it through those first 3 years. They were hard but so worth the results. We are planning to go to Boston for a team visit Sept. 5th. Jaron will see the speech therapist, plastic surgeon, occupational therapist (feeding) and dentist. I can't wait to hear what they have to say.

so sleepy...

Well this what happens when you let the 5 year old stay awake during nap time...he couldn't....

Chunky Lil' Man!

He just had a bath and was smiling so big! He loves the bath. He has learned how to kick and splash water, it is so cute.
We tried the jumper and he was not sure what to do with it. He is still too little to hold himself up good so we put a blanket behind him. He is doing better holding his head up though.

2 months old!

Well we had his 2 month check up yesterday and he is a WHOPPING 14 lbs. 3 oz. Bigger than Jacob and Jaron both were at this age. He is wearing 3 months size clothes. He is also 24 1/2 inches long. He's growing GREAT! Still enjoying mommy's milk only. It is such a good feeling to know that I have everything my baby needs. I just realized the other day the meaning of his name. I know Jonah means dove but what does dove mean? What did it mean in the bible? The dove returned to the Ark after the flood to let Noah and his family know that everything was going to be alright. To me Jonah was a relief, having a child without a cleft was God's way of telling me that everything is going to be alright. I thought it could never happen. It's almost like the devil was telling me "You can't have a normal baby". I was scared to get pregnant this last time and doubted the entire pregnancy if the ultrasound was right. "Does he really have a cleft and they just can't see it?" So Jonah has been my easiest baby. Even though he has colic from 11pm-12am EVERY night. It's so weird. Just one hour of crying then he's done. The doctor said he would grow out of it around 4 months old.

Silly Boys

Jaron loves wearing hat and gloves so this is what they did the other day in the house and it was 75 degrees outside.

Happy Baby!

No More Training Wheels!

Here is one of Jacob's many pictures. He drew this all by himself with no ideas or help from anyone. So detailed. Notice the sail, motor on the boat, sail, stearing wheel for boat, fish with bubbles and jumping dolphin and the captain on the boat oh and don't forget the swirls of wind above his head. SO CUTE!!!

Uncle Tim came to visit and showed Jacob how to ride his bike without training wheels. He had dropped his bike a few weeks ago and broke the training wheels so we bought him a kick stand and took off the training wheels. Now is a "BIG BOY"!!!

Baby Dedication

We dedicated Jonah back to the Lord Sunday at church. He was all dressed up for the occasion.

Jesus Loves Me

Jaron singing Jesus loves me. Don't forget to pause the slideshow above so you can hear him.

Another Tooth GONE!

Well Jacob let his other top front tooth dangle in his mouth for 7 days! Yep it was not easy to look at but he cried when we tried to pull saying it was not ready. So we waited and let him do it on his own. Wednesday when I was in the shower he pulled it and did not even cry. Since he let it hang there so long the other tooth is already broke through the skin. We can see it! So here he is the toothless one and his silly glasses.

What can I say?

They are not always well behaved but how could I not love those faces. They are so handsome! And when they say "I love you mommy" at any given moment it just melts my heart.

I think he's in love!

Jaron truly cannot get enough of Jonah. He gets fighting mad if I don't let him hold him whenever he asks. He also will just lay with him and stare saying "I love you Jonah". He really does too. TRUST ME!!!
and here' s a good one of him. He asked me to take this one of him holding Buzz Lightyear. He loves Toy Story (right now) They go through phases. He used to love Blues Clues but can't get him to watch it now. He loves Buzz & Woody. We are working on getting the flights to Boston for his 3 year check up scheduled for Sept. 5th. It is a one day trip to meet with speech, feeding, surgeon, and dentist. I can't wait to see what they say!
