Sicker than sick!!!

Cute little pipe cleaner glasses we made...
My little professors...
And last but not least, Jacob was in his first wedding. My sister got married and he was the ring bearer. He was so funny, winking at the audience and raising his eyebrows at everyone. He did very well though. Went right up on stage and stood in his place with no problems.

Last week was pretty rough though. He started running a fever of 101.8 on Tues. and I kept it down with tylenol and motrin then Wednesday I gave him more when he woke up burning up again. The medicine didn't work this time. I called the doctor and got him in and by the time we got there he was up to 103. He was swabbed for strep and flu and they both were positive. Evidently everyone in Hall county has it. So we got his meds and came home. He was feeling pretty rough for about 3 days then he seemed to get better after we got some meds in him. Thank God that is over and I didn't get it!!!

Winter time sickness

Well now that they share a room this is what sometimes happens at bedtime. Jaron's bed is the trundle on the floor that rolls out from under Jacob's bed. And when Chris went in to check on them the other night before leaving to work this is how they were sleeping. Jaron loves his big brother. It is so sweet but just won't work all night. Trust me I have had Jaron in my bed and he kicks and squirms and Jacob would have been in the floor before long. So we put him back in his own bed. They are getting so close lately.
And these are some little pipecleaner glasses we made for them yesterday. They loved them. So cute!!! Jaron just got over being sick. He was showing all the same symptoms Jacob had with the flu and strep throat. Since they are both very contagious and I only took Jacob to the doctor to begin with. Then Jaron got sick. They just called me in some meds for him too. Assuming he had the same thing. He was running a high fever and coughing ALL NIGHT. So glad I didn't get it!!!

Still Pregnant...

Well I haven't posted because there is nothing to say, but still pregnant. Every day is getting harder to get anything done. Walking is no fun and bending over is impossible. Jonah is getting so big and when he moves it almost hurts. I go back for a check up Wednesday. Last time she told me if I want we can induce one week early. I may take that offer. I can't imagine going another 8 weeks like this. My back is killing me and my bed is no longer an option. I sleep on the recliner now. At the last ultrasound the doctor said he is in the 90% for his growth. So that is just great!!! (sarcasm) Another HUGE baby right. It wouldn't kill either of us to go a little early. So I will post when I know more. THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS!

Potty TRAINED!

Well it is official I think we can say Jaron is potty trained. He wears underwear all day long and tells me when he has to go poop and pee. I only put a diaper on him after he falls asleep at night. He even stays dry during his 2 hour nap everyday. THANK GOD. He is obviously not happy in this picture. I took the flashlight away for the picture and he was NOT HAPPY. So I gave it back but forgot to wipe the tears off. He still looks handsome.

My little artist

Jacob drew this. Notice all the details. Shoelaces tied and a basketball on the shirt. Candy cane in bottom right corner and beside that he wrote eggs.
Dressed for church...Getting so big and so smart.
Another church day. This suit is too small. This is the last time he'll be able to wear it. He has suspenders underneath and they are so handsome.

Eating Better

Cute little pose...Potty training is going GREAT! He is pooping in the potty every day and wearing underwear all the time. It's been great! He goes to sleep in underwear and I go in and put on a diaper after he's out. THANK GOD. We should be done with this and won't have 2 in diapers when Jonah arrives. He has also started to feed himself with his spoon and scooping it up all by himself. This is a major step for him. I have waited so long for this to happen. We are still working on the chewing foods. We massage his cheeks to stimulate the muscles that he never used to suck a bottle. Speech is another story. It's very slow going but he is making progress....I estimate he will need it for another year maybe. I don't know for sure.

The White Stuff!

We thought it would snow and sure enough we looked outside today about 5pm and it was coming down. Jacob was so excited. He asked me have I ever caught a snowflake on my tongue. He is so excited about this. I could barely get them in the bed tonight.

Here they are in the attick together. Jaron's reward for pooping in the potty!!!

Snow Snow Snow!!!

Well first let me tell you of our potty training progress. Jaron has pooped in the potty 4 times in the last 2 months. He does it only when he is ready. Usually wears underwear all day long and pees in the potty no problem. He waits until I put on his bedtime diaper to poop in it. I have spent many nights sitting my big pregnant self in the bathroom floor talking and singing to him and reading hoping he will poop....oh the things we do for our children. Oh and this first picture is one of him in the attick. He loves it! We got up there to get out some baby clothes and he can't get enough. So this is his reward when he poops in the potty...And this is what we say "No Poop, No Attick".
And today we got some snow.... This was before we left for church...
And this was when we got home...About 2 inches and it's still coming down.

Last Ultrasounds Today

Well I went this morning for my last ultrasound and Jonah looks good. His palate looks intact. His lips looks great and we are so happy. I can't wait to see him. Only 13 more weeks to go. The boys went with us and they were excited to see Jonah on the tv. They estimated he is about 2lbs. 7oz right now. He is very active and things are starting to get pretty crowded in there. I would not mind if I had him a week or two early. Thanks for all your prayers.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

One last picture in front of our tree before it comes down. These are new outfits they got for Christmas. So handsome.
And here they are enjoying their new games they got for christmas.Brotherly love....

My Glucose Test

Well I went to the doctor Wednesday. I had to drink the glucose drink before I went in and then they drew blood to check for gestational diabetes. I went up to see my doctor and she was glad to see I finally gained some weight. She also said I passed the glucose test "with flying colors". I was kinda suprised since I had so many minature heath bars the night before. But I have never had that in previous pregnancies so I didn't think it would be a problem this time. I am not even swelling around my ankles with this one either. I think it's because I am pregnant in the winter. It is nice not to be so hot all the time. I am drinking my 64oz a day trying to prepare for the upcoming ultrasound Jan 9th. The more I drink, the more fluid builds up around the baby and it makes the ultrasound pictures come out more clear. We are thinking of taking the boys with us to this one. If they will behave I think they will enjoy it. It might be our last ultrasound and this might be our last baby so I wanted to let them go. We have decided on a name, JONAH AVERY. It's final I am tired of talking about it. We are sticking with it and Jacob keeps saying he's glad we picked a name too. Anyway, check back Jan. 9th for some more ultrasounds.

A Million Dollar Smile

Well I made these iron on's months ago and forgot about them. I just put them on shirts yesterday and they are so cute.

Jacob and Jaron have seen someone put a pencil behind their ear. So this is what they did yesterday. Crayons behind their ears.

Another Check Up

I went to the doctor last week and we heard his heartbeat again. I was having some pain in my stomach and she said he sounded like I pulled a muscle. And after thinking about it that does seem possible. I was the one climbing all over the van with the kids on our trip to FL. Or it could have happened when we went bowling. I don't know but it is all better now. It only hurt for about 3 days. Thank God that is over with. Other than the headaches my pregnancy is going good. Just like the other two. We are just anxious to see him. He kicks a lot after I eat. We still can't decide on a name. I like Jonah or Josiah and Chris likes Jace. I think we should wait until we see his face. I can't wait until Jan 9th to get more pictures of him. My next check up is Dec. 26th. I get to drink the glucose drink....yeah....and get my blood drawn to check for diabetes.

The wheels on the bus

Jacob wanted to pose with the dog. Poor thing, he's got her in a headlock.
And this is the look I get when they are tired of taking pictures.
BIG HUGS! Brotherly love... They have their good days and bad days.

Say Cheese!

Jaron got a new outfit and we had them all dressed for church.
So we tried to get a picture in front of the tree but Jaron couldn't wait to see it. He runs toward me before it even flashes.
And here it is. I learned to not count to 3 and just tell them to say CHEESE.

The other morning they got in my bed around 6:30am like usual. We pull up my shirt and talk to the baby. Jaron was rubbing my belly and he said "open". I said open what? "Open Mommy" I said open my belly? He said "yeah" I said you want to get the baby out? "yeah" It was so cute because he just kept rubbing my belly and kissing it. The baby kicks a lot but Jaron hasn't been still long enough to feel it.

Oh and he pooped in the potty last week. He actually told me he had to go and he did. I couldn't believe it. But each day since he waits until his bedtime diaper goes on then he poops in that.
