Sorry no pics...

Well I have tried twice to post pictures and something isn't working right with blogger or my internet service provider. I don't know but I just wanted everyone to know Jaron is not puking daily anymore. He is still congested and coughing at night some. But he is back to eating food daily almost every 2 hours. I have started adding butter to all the vegetables and brown sugar to his sweet potatoes for some "candied yams"! He seems to like them much better. I figured all the butter might help him gain some too. He still hasn't learned to suck from a sippy cup but I know it won't be long. He loves water and chews on his cup to make some come out. He has a tooth on top. Not sure if I already posted that or not. We went to the park today and I got pictures. I'll try again tomorrow to post them. thanks for reading.

Slides-Painting-Bubbles

This first picture is what Jacob drew. Its a slide. Notice the steps on the left and the slide going down and to the right. I thought it was very good. He is getting very creative. Here is another on of him painting with watercolors. He loves to mix all the colors and make brownish black. And the last one is a little something he had gotten addicted to lately-blowing bubbles. He loves it! We go out on the back deck and he uses a whole bottle each time. Thank God for dish soap!

Not doing great...

Well Jaron finished his antibiotics for the bronchitis he had and used all the congestion/cough medicine too. So all the symptoms are BACK!!! He puked ALL OVER ME tonight. I AM AT MY WITS END....I don't know what to do anymore. It seems none of the doctors are getting it right. I feel like there is something wrong with his digestive system or something. I am so tired of watching my baby puke up all his nutrition. SOMEBODY HELP!!!! ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Look alike contest

Here is a picture of Jacob on the left when he was Jaron's age. They happen to be wearing the same shirt. Jaron wears his hand-me-downs. I think it is amazing how much they look alike considering Jaron's facial difference from the beginning. Please let me know what you think. Click on the link below the picture that says "comments".

Bonding Brothers...

The first picture is from the other night I was letting Jaron tell Jacob good night and this is what they did. Jaron pitched a fit when I got him out of this bed. He wanted to lay with "brother". And the other one is Jacob in the ball drawer of course he wanted to do what Jaron did. The camo pants is cute. I bought them at walmart $3 couldn't resist. I love to dress my boys alike. Not quite sure why I just think they are so handsome I can't resist.

Bronchitis Boy!

Jaron has bronchitis now. I took him to the ER sunday morning at 4am. He had been coughing about an hour and nothing was helping. So I reached my breaking point. They did a chest x-ray and saw the culprit. So now he is on antibiotics and a new cough medicine that taste much better and isn't making him barf. He is still congested. I am sure it will clear when he finishes the meds. These are some really cute pictures we got of him playing. And there are 2 of them when he is dressed for church. Such a good boy!

Jacob has been so good to us this week. Chris and I have been sick and if he's said it once, he's said it a hundred times "I'm sorry you don't feel good Mommy. " I could have just cried. He hasn't gotten many symptoms so that was good. We are just very congested and coughing and sneezing and severe sinus headaches. Jacob gets his new tooth Nov. 1st. I am going to try to get him to say some Bible verses on here with the audioblog I used on Jaron's. Check back next week for that.

All better and All over the house!

Jaron puked for 13 days straight and is finally over it I THINK. He had a bad cold and the sinus drainage has gagged him so much. No matter what I fed him food or milk. Or even if he wasn't eating at all. He would puke! NO WARNING! A couple of times he puked in the bed almost asleep. It has been a tough few weeks but I think we have topped the mountain and we're finally out of the valley.

Well we have a climber here. Jaron loves to sit at the computer. Maybe cause he sees mommy doing it a lot.
This is how is walks around the house most of the time. He loves this blanket. When he wakes up in the morning he won't let it go as we are picking him up out of the bed.
The day he was sleeping on me. He had been puking several days and didn't want to be put down. So I took a nap on the couch with him. I will miss these days when he could nap on my chest. One day he'll be bigger than I am.









This is the day I took so many pictures of him and was basically chasing him around the house with the camera. He was cracking up laughing!













This is the face he gets when he is coming at me. It's like here I come are you ready?! And he dives on top of me.

Sitting at the computer

Well Jaron is a definate climber! He has learned to climb on everything. He is still puking daily now because of cold causing him to gag on his drainage. Everything I own has been puked on. We went to the doctor yesterday and they gave him some cough med w/ decongestant & codeine. It tastes so bad he BARFS every time I give him the stuff! He was up until midnight last night so he has cried, puked and slept most of the day today. I hope next week is better than this one.

Playing ball and TOOTHLESS

Jacob fell out of his bed at 4am Sat. morning and knocked
out his front tooth. He is too young to loose his teeth so we called the dentist. We took him to the dentist today and they took an xray and found that there is nothing left in there. THE ENTIRE TOOTH came out. And guess what mommy passed out!!! I have never passed out. Chris got me before I hit the floor and put me in the bed. WHAT A DAY! He will be getting a partial Nov. 1st. He probably won't get his permanent teeth until he is 7 years old so we had to get something to fill that hole!
Jacob loves to play basketball in his room and he wants me to take pictures. The have learned to sit in their chairs together and watch a little tv without hurting each other. :-) Jaron has learned defend himself a little now. I actually caught him hitting Jacob in the head the other day. My life is going to be so fun!

FOUR YEARS OLD

Well Jacob is 4 years old now! I am speechless. He got some more Thomas the trains for his birthday but he wanted a Blue's Clues cake. So here it is! He also was trying to show Jaron how to play the guitar. What a moment. He has grown 3 1/4 inches since last year on his birthday. He is now 3 ft. 4 1/2 inches and he weighs 37.5 lbs. I am sure it won't be many more years and he will be bigger than me.

Growing & Climbing!!!

Well Jaron's teeth are showing better now. He has discovered how to climb on the coffee table and STAND UP on it! Also he likes to stand on that little stool and look out the window. I put that guitar on him with a belt around his back. Thought it was cute! Jacob was holding his bigger guitar. Check out his blog to see more pictures of that day. I have been weight Jaron once a month to keep an accurate log of his weight gain. He was weighed Sept. 8th and was only 20lbs. 10oz. He has only gained 2 oz since last month. I am trying to pack in the calories but sometimes he just can't take it all and pukes it up. Other times I think its the sinus drainage in his throat that gags him and causes him to puke. So when you can't do anything else for us just PLEASE PRAY FOR POUNDS!!!

Swimming & Smiling!

Well the boys got to swim again the other day. And Jaron was loving slide. I would put him at the top and he would go down by himself. I just caught him at the bottom so his head didnt' go under water. The water was cold and the sun was behind the trees so they didn't stay in long.








Here's the boys dress alike for church again. I don't know why I do it. Maybe it's just feels better if they match. I don't know but everyone says they look a lot alike too. Jacob always fakes a smile. So funny! He might just turn out to be a comedian.

Scar-Singing-Sitting

Jaron's scar is barely noticeable now. Of course we can tell he had surgery but strangers don't seem to notice. It is so nice to finally go to Wal-mart without all the stares and double-takes. Finally we can have a normal day without all the questions and weird looks. He does have 2 teeth on the bottom barely showing.













Here is one daddy took of him in the carseat the other day. On the way home from church. He loves riding in the car. And he hums and trys to sing with every song we play. I hope he's going to be a singer for the Lord.


We got him ready for church the other night and he just sat in the floor like this. It's NOT normal for Jaron to sit still like this unless he is tired or filling his diaper. Don't let the clothes fool you he is still not gaining very good. Everything is big on him.

My Big "J"

Well we didn't get many smiles out of Jacob this time. Seems the camera has a delay and the kids can only hold their grin for so long. Oh well at least you can see how big he is getting and so handsome too! The boys in their sunglasses was so cute! Jacob told me today that we are going to China. Don't know where he heard that word even. Then the other day in Sunday School he prayed for "Jesus to please save his brother Jaron". That is as precious as it gets! Oh and I can't forget today in church he layed his head on my lap and said "Mommy you are my friend". He is getting so sweet lately. And a few weeks ago he said "Mommy I was your first baby in your belly." Just out of the blue don't know where it came from we weren't even talking about babies that day. I can't believe he is going to be 4 years old in 16 DAYS!
