Cavities & Cuddling

Jaron is just getting over another ear infection. He went to Atlanta yesterday and got 3 fillings and had to get anesthesia to have them done. They also did an xray only to find that he does not seem to have his top incisers. That is the teeth beside the two front teeth. So I guess there will need to be some fake teeth put in place one day in the future. Don't really know what will happen. We are going to Boston October 10th for a team visit to talk about future surgeries for Jaron.
And this is what I wake up to most mornings. I start them all out in their own beds but Jonah does better in my bed nursing still and I seem to get more sleep as well. Then at some point during the night Jaron also ends up in my bed. It is hard at times but I do love to cuddle too.

Hurricane Art

We met Jacob's teacher with the Georgia Virtual Academy at Chic Fil A for a "Meet and Greet". He was so excited. He got to play with other GVA kids and they had icecream and played on the play ground. We will try to get to one of these once a month if possible.
Here is Jacob's take on the hurricane recently. He drew the United States and marked Florida and Georgia then drew Louisiana and the swirling hurricane "BAM" he said there it is!

School is going great! He loves it! He tells me every day "Mommy you're such a good teacher.

All smiles!

Jaron has weighed approx 27 lbs. for about a year or more. I am trying to help him gain weight by supplementing with Pediasure and feeding him all day long with fruits and snacks and whatever he wants to eat really.
We went swimming at a friend of the family's house. It was fun and Jaron was so tired and almost fell asleep like this.
Sitting with Jonah...oh how he loves Jonah...he kisses him and tells me he loves him all the time. If Jonah spits up Jaron will run back to his room and get a burp cloth and wipe his mouth.
This was sunday morning all dressed for church. I said smile and Jaron was saying it too as a snapped the picture. SMILE!

Summer Fun!

We went to someone else's house that had a nice pool. The boys loved it.
We had vacation Bible school the other week at our church and Jacob had a blast!
Oh how he takes advantage of his role as "Big Brother" He is always bossing Jaron around and trying to give Jonah a bottle when he doesn't even need it. If Jonah is crying and Jacob can't get him to calm down with toys or a passy he will say "I don't know what he wants, just get him mommy".
They had fun the other day in the our little pool sliding and splashing and got a little sun too.

Summer Sillies...

My boys are so handsome --- not bragging just telling the truth!
I got these at the drug store the other day. They are suckers on the other side and too big to really eat but they were very funny.

Summer FUN!

We got to play outside one day last week. Check out the splash! And look at Jaron's face...
This was Jacob's idea...Mommy can we please play in with a laundry basket....

Oh I signed him up for public school...from home. Yes that is right...it's called the GA virtual Academy. I will get the curriculum in the mail and home school with public school material. It is free and he will only have to go to the school at the end of the year for testing. His first day is August 13th. He will be required to attended 5 days a week 4.5 hours per day. We log in his attendance online. I can't wait to get started.

TOO FUNNY!

Throughout the day I get the call "Mommy I'm all done!" So I went into the bathroom and this is what I found. I couldn't resist - had to go back and get the camera....too funny!
Here's a good close up of him. Daddy took this one today.
My three sons...so handsome!

Week of Firsts

Jonah went to his 1st braves game and he slept through most of it.
He went in his own room and slept in the crib all by himself. I always put my babies in their own room at 3 months. He did fine. No complaints.
And he has learned to grab this little toy someone got him at birth. It is so cute when he does it and he also started rubbing his eyes when he gets sleepy. Adorable...

Happy Birthday Jaron!

Well he is 3 years old CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! I am amazed at the changes in my little boy. He is doing better with eating and speech therapy. He got a Toy Story cake and I decorated the kitchen with streamers and balloons. HE LOVED IT!
The suspense was adorable....
And here it is a spiderman scooter (3 wheels) so he can ride with Jacob. He has a bike too but hasn't learned to pedal yet. Thank God we made it through those first 3 years. They were hard but so worth the results. We are planning to go to Boston for a team visit Sept. 5th. Jaron will see the speech therapist, plastic surgeon, occupational therapist (feeding) and dentist. I can't wait to hear what they have to say.

so sleepy...

Well this what happens when you let the 5 year old stay awake during nap time...he couldn't....

Chunky Lil' Man!

He just had a bath and was smiling so big! He loves the bath. He has learned how to kick and splash water, it is so cute.
We tried the jumper and he was not sure what to do with it. He is still too little to hold himself up good so we put a blanket behind him. He is doing better holding his head up though.
