Here is one of Jacob's many pictures. He drew this all by himself with no ideas or help from anyone. So detailed. Notice the sail, motor on the boat, sail, stearing wheel for boat, fish with bubbles and jumping dolphin and the captain on the boat oh and don't forget the swirls of wind above his head. SO CUTE!!!Uncle Tim came to visit and showed Jacob how to ride his bike without training wheels. He had dropped his bike a few weeks ago and broke the training wheels so we bought him a kick stand and took off the training wheels. Now is a "BIG BOY"!!!
Jaron singing Jesus loves me. Don't forget to pause the slideshow above so you can hear him.
Well Jacob let his other top front tooth dangle in his mouth for 7 days! Yep it was not easy to look at but he cried when we tried to pull saying it was not ready. So we waited and let him do it on his own. Wednesday when I was in the shower he pulled it and did not even cry. Since he let it hang there so long the other tooth is already broke through the skin. We can see it! So here he is the toothless one and his silly glasses.
Jaron truly cannot get enough of Jonah. He gets fighting mad if I don't let him hold him whenever he asks. He also will just lay with him and stare saying "I love you Jonah". He really does too. TRUST ME!!!
and here' s a good one of him. He asked me to take this one of him holding Buzz Lightyear. He loves Toy Story (right now) They go through phases. He used to love Blues Clues but can't get him to watch it now. He loves Buzz & Woody. We are working on getting the flights to Boston for his 3 year check up scheduled for Sept. 5th. It is a one day trip to meet with speech, feeding, surgeon, and dentist. I can't wait to see what they say!
I took Jaron to the doctor today and I could not resist the scales for Jonah. I put him on there dressed and he weighed 11 lbs. 4 oz. !!! I am so happy. It is hard nursing him not knowing if he is getting enough and growing good. So now I know my little man is growing perfect. And I should have figured it out since he's too big for the kitchen sink baths now.
Jonah still sleeps a lot during the day and not so much at night. I am still trying to avoid things that might be giving him so much gas. I soon will be down to plain oatmeal and dry toast with some pretzels for a snack. He really is a content baby. No complaints here.

Jaron sure does love Jonah...he won't go to bed without giving him kisses. I mean pitches a fit WILL NOT go to bed. Jaron is doing much better eating and his speech is coming along much better. I think having a new baby in the house has kinda forced him to grow up. He woke up in the middle of the night last night asking to go pee. He had on a diaper and did not want to pee in it. So that is a major step for him. I was not happy to be woke up but was glad to know he is growing up. So now he is the big brother.
Jacob cannot get enough of Jonah. He just wants to hold him and lay with him and he has even attempted to pick him up while in the bouncer. He always asks when is it time to feed Jonah. "Is he ready for some milk mommy?" And whenever Jonah cries Jacob runs to find a pacifier and help him calm down. The other sunday at church my mom was walking him to the car and Jacob said "where are you going with that baby?" He thought she was taking him home. When we leave to go somewhere he asks "can jonah come too?"
My 3 boys all dressed up for church. So handsome. It is rare to get a picture with all 3 of them looking at the camera.
And here is Jonah in his little suit. He is such a happy baby. We have learned that mommy can't eat dairy or it makes his belly hurt ALL NIGHT. (especially blizzards from dairy queen) And I forgot to post Friday after his 2 week check up. He is up to 9 lbs. 3 oz. and she said he looked good and it was not necessary to check his jaundice again. So I am glad that is all behind us. Jonah is still nursing every 2 hours so sleep is rare for mommy.
Well this is what Jacob made with some paper and tape. He said it is a "Buzz Lightyear" helmet. I thought it was very creative.
And here is Jacob holding his baby brother. He just loves him so much. He always gives him a passy when he cries and he wants to help me so much. The first thing he said when they came to see us at the hospital. He said "Mommy, I am so glad you aren't pregnant anymore". He was so worried about me, because towards the end I was so uncomfortable. He is my caring and sensitive child.
