Home Depot Boy

Well here is Jacob in the same little apron Jaron had on. He isn't quite smiling here but he was happy. I took it off Jaron to let Jacob wear it and he ran all over the house. He is so sweet when he wants to be. Today he asked me "Mommy, what is happiness?" Ummmm....I was speechless. How do you explain happiness??? I told him it's when you are not sad, you're happy. That satisfied his curiousity for the moment. THANK GOD! I know as he gets older the questions are going to be more detailed and I dread it. We'll let daddy answer the big ones. ;-)

Home Depot Baby

Check him out! My little home depot baby. He walked all over the house just like this. Serious face and arms out very slow. I guess he thought it would fall off if he ran.
And this was a good day for us. Jaron just finished his first bowl of REAL OATMEAL. He didn't gag once. He ate all of it! I couldn't beleive it. He eats it every morning now the chunks don't even bother him. Thank God he is making progress. Although I think this surgery on the 25th of this month might set him back a little. He has come so far. I don't remember the last time he puked. What a MIRACLE!

Yard Sale Postponed

Well due to unforeseen weather conditions we have postponed the yard sale until next weekend. It will be at the same location, First National Bank of Hall County. We just can't see many people wanting to get out and shop when the high tomorrow will only be 45 degrees. Too cold to go anywhere actually. So please tell all your friends come out next Saturday 14Th to buy some stuff at our yard sale. Thanks for every ones support.

Big Shorts

Caught in the act!!! Jumping on the couch...So fun but not allowed...Just had to get one picture though.
And this is what happens when you leave your clothes lying around at our house. Jacob was CRACKING up laughing running all over the house like this. Our days here at home are always filled with suprises and mishaps.

The Professional

We have to lay our stools down in the floor so Jaron won't fall off of them and break his neck and this is what he does instead. It is so cute and yet so dangerous. He seems to be an expert though.

Brotherly Bonding

My two little men all dressed for church. Jacob loves to match his brother. We went to Arby's to eat one Sunday and Jaron was crying and very tired and Jacob wanted to make him feel better. So Jacob said to his brother, "It's okay buddy, we have to pray and ask Jesus to help us.". It was the most precious thing I have ever heard. He kept saying it and trying to calm Jaron down. It was adorable. Jacob never ceases to amaze me.

My little Drill Sergeant

Chris got home from his last drill in the army and Jaron wanted to try on Daddy's big hat.
This is what he loves to do. He climbs up in the bar stools....yes the bar stools with no help. And he loves to write with a pencil on anything he can reach. And we think he might be left handed.

Boys boys boys...

We made a last minute trip to FL to see the grandparents and went to the mall to play in the play area. Here are the boys sitting inside a giant pretend computer monitor.

Wearing Mommy's Glasses

Here's what you get when you let a 1 year old play with your sunglasses. The 4 year old had fun pretending to make a list while wearing these frames. Glad I buy the cheap ones cause these were practically new. Oh well....

Toys, Keys, Bibs...

This is what happens when I turn my back for a second. Jaron has learned to dump out the toy basket!
And here he is sitting on the coffee table like always chewing on his own set of keys (he loves metal stuff in his mouth)
We were trying to get the bib off and he thought it was so funny when it got stuck!
And I guess I pushed my luck with the pictures....he's looking at me like that's enough pictures mom take this thing off me!

BIG SHOES!

Jacob has been writing his ABC's every day and here is one we saved. He also writes his name and numbers 1-10. He is getting better at it all the time.

This day they were running all over the house in our shoes. Jacob said he was making music for me. It was something but not sure if I'd call it music.

Mirrors & Marshmellows

He could not quit looking at himself in the mirror. Look at him smiling. Jaron and the dog were waiting for me to get out of the shower.
This was funny. He normally eats marshmellows with no problem. But this day he wanted to squish them in his hands and then it got all over his face. What a mess!

Sticker Fun!

We got a little crazy with the stickers!
What a face! This is his new face he makes being silly.
And look at that cute expression. We were trying to get him to pick up some small veggies but he wouldn't even touch them. He has some sensory issues that we are working on. He is gaining some though. He is about 25 lbs. now. I put a big spoon of butter in all his food.

What A FACE!

Jacob is making his silly face at the dinner table and daddy had to capture it with the camera. Jacob is so talkative and could talk to a brick wall I think. He loves to describe everything and he is to that age where he asks about everything he sees. "Mommy, but why?" I love this boy!!!

Handsome and Happy

Our Little Precious is growing up. She is 7 lbs. now and Jacob loves her guts out!

Notice he got a haircut. Very short like daddy's. He is so funny these days. The other morning we woke up and the first thing he said was "Mommy when I get 5 I will be big to take precious outside to go potty and big to do the dishes." So adorable. And yesterday at church he looked at Jaron and said you are my best friend. Then he said Jaron you're my whole world. I have no idea where he heard that from, but I almost cried.

Eating and Growing

Well here is Jaron in his famous hiding spot. He loves to run down the hallway and take the corner and hide there.
This is cute one of him dressed for church. He looks so grown up here.
Here he is at potty practice. He likes to go in and sit down on the potty. Haven't tried to actually get him to go yet. He just likes to copy brother, which will be a big help real soon.

Handsome Brother

Jacob is so handsome, his eyes are going to be what girls can't resist ONE DAY 30 yrs from now.
And oh that brotherly love. Here he is hugging his brother with all he's got. Notice Jaron trying to get away.
Here's the two of them all ready for church. Jacob loves to dress like Jaron. I don't have matching vests but this was close enough. It took 3 tries to get one with both of them smiling at the same time.

Cutie Pie!

We were out of town and the hotel didn't have a crib so we put Jaron in the bed with Jacob. This is how they fell asleep.
Here Jaron is writing on his magna doodle that he LOVES so much!
And here is Jaron in the floor seconds after I walked out of the room. Thank God I put the pillows there, just in case!

Here's a good close up of Jaron's lip and nose for those who want to see how bad the scar is and if you can even notice. I feel like he looks almost "normal". His top lip isn't quite perfect so that is what gives it away. But the scars aren't very visible at all.

Painting

Jacob is growing up. He's so heavy and I can barely carry him anymore. One day soon he'll be bigger than Mommy.
Jacob got a little carried away with the paint the other day. He think it needs to be all over his hands front and back. Silly boy!
Here they are, my two monsters playing in the bath tub. Mommy usually gets a bath while trying to bath them....They love to splash.
